There will be 8 weeks of Sports Camp in 2008 for boys and girsl. The camps offered this summer include Field Hockey, Basketball and Volleyball, Wiffle-ball, kickball, Flag Football and Futsal-Indoor Soccer, Olympics.

Camp Allen
Camp Allen will again be helf for all nine weeks of summer 2008. Weekly themes for summer 2008 include some favorites from last year like "Into Space" and "Around the World" and some new themes like "Franklin County."
Camp Allen's mission is to provide fun and safe summer experiences to kids between the ages of 5 and 14. We provide daily arts & crafts, physical activities, values education and enrichment (including math, writing, science and more). This summer Camp Allen will focus on a balance of enrichment, hands-on games and projects.

Camp Apex
Camp Apex will hold four 2-week sessions and two one week mini camps this Summer 2008 for campers aged 5 (if child has attended kindergarten) to 14. The themes for each session are as follows: Session 1 - "Safari Adventure;" Session 2 - "Wild, Wild, West;" Session 3 - "Celebrations Around The World;" and Session 4 - "Under the Sea."
Our very popular High Adventure Tribe will be offered for campers ages 12 to 14. This tribe will focus on all the fun things about camping. Campers will learn wilderness skills, fire building and outdoor cooking plus enjoy their favorite Apex activities.
We will also offer a new Low Ropes Course for ages 8 and up and a new One Mile Bike Trail for ages 10 and up. Also, we will again offer our popular soccer camp for ages 6 to 14.
Our Counselor in Training (CIT) Program is new and available by application only. Applications will be available after February 16th at the Y Welcome Center at 451 Main St. It is for ages 15 and older, and will cost $50 for the entire summer. All CIT’S will be volunteer staff, and gain the necessary experience to one day apply to become a staff member.

Gymnastics & Mini Gymnastics Camps
Gymnastics Camp will retain many of the fun things from last year some Specialty camps will be offered along with the regular Gymnastics Camp this summer. They will run at the same camp times (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.).
The new Specialty Camps include Cheer Camp & Gymnastics Camp for those who want to be cheerleaders and those who currently cheer. This camp will help with your stunts, jumps, and tumbling.
Full day Gymnastics Camp is now extended to 5 year olds. 3.5 to 6 year olds may attend
Gym Team Camp For every girl who is currently on a gymnastics team and wants to work on move up skills, or for those who want to be part of the Gymnastics Team next season and want to know what it is all about. They will have a mock Meet at the end of the week with scores and medals given out.
